TRI-STATE SHOOTING PARK, INC Minutes for September 6, 2017
Meeting called to order by Vice President Robbie Love @ 7:00 Welcome back to all after 2 months off because of the heat. We will have cooler weather in our future.
First up Tim Thibodeaux reported that some people are using the archery part of the range. There is a need for a table. Another club member new to the area is very eager to help get the archery range up and moving in a positive direction. He has lots of good ideas, and has offered to help out on this aspect of our range. So if anyone thinks they might be able to help out & VOLUNTEER in any small or large way or has ideas that might work give Marco a call at 702-334-4288
Next up is Kevin Ward, he reported that the matches have continued through the summer heat, been having a steady support group with interest growing and more shooters participating. The AR shoot was enthusiastically enjoyed by all participants. There is a Hunter Ed class next weekend in Kingman with several people coming from out of state just to get the extra point. One newer member came to find out about dove hunting season, his questions were answered, happy hunting to all.
Jamie Starr reported she is working on a reload class it will be by an NRA certified instructor. More information as plans come together for the class, if interested in doing this give Jamie a call so she will know how many people to plan for.
The new club house is coming along. A bathroom hopefully will be finished for the ATA shoot this Sunday, Sept 10. The metal roof hopefully will get started on next week, and completed; VOLUNTEERS are needed, especially if experienced on metal roofing, you can call Robbie about that.
Again ALL work is done by VOLUNTEERS. This is your club, & you need to help keep things clean. If you have extra time or skills VOLUNTEER, there is always something to do. To all who VOLUNTEER, a BIG THANK YOU!!
